Large animals. The coat is predominantly black, but a few white, brown and spotted animals are also found. Long hair, nose slightly Roman, Cork screw horns painted upwards, ears are long, broad and drooping. The udder is moderately developed with conical shaped teats.


Milk:  Average yield varies around 1.5 kg and the lactation length is about 110 days.

Hair: Annual yield touches about 500 gm when shorn twice a year.
